While visiting a local festival booth in
September of 1994, we were first introduced to these magnificent creatures. We
learned that emus are relatively easy to raise and, unlike cattle, require very
little land. With our small acreage, this seemed to be right up our alley.
In May of 1995, after much planning and
preparation, we purchased our first two pair of unrelated yearlings. Since
then, we have built our breeding stock by purchasing chicks, eggs for hatching
and through chick splits from hatching contracts performed by our farm. Like
most TEXANS, we do like to brag about the quality and size of our big birds.
Our Farm Specializes in the Following
Emu Chicks
Fertile Emu Eggs for Incubating
Blown Eggs (Emu, Goose and Duck)
Emu Egg Art
Emu Reference Books
Emu Oil
We invite you to visit our other webpages to
learn more about what we have to offer. We welcome your comments and questions
regarding our favorite bird, the EMU.
